People tend not to understand just how much work goes into reproducing a great sounding and playable piano in software. It's incredibly complicated! This is due primarily to the huge dynamic range of a real piano, the number of notes to reproduce (88), the workings of the pedals, soundboard, and ambience, and so much more. I think we got pretty close with this one but this is a sound design challenge that will continue far into the future.
For good measure, and to differentiate ourselves, we also include some nice bass, strings, brass and guitar sounds.
